LH2 Barrel Panels, Shuttle
AMRO Fabricating is currently under long-term contract to brake-form and heat-age these
large (131” x 246”) aluminum lithium skin panels. To date we have successfully
shipped over 900 panels with zero quality escapes. |

Thrust Panels, Shuttle
This projects fits well with our growth strategies. In addition to the complete machining,
forming and aging, we are now providing assembly work. This represents our complete
package services. Currently, we are experiencing excellent results with our High Speed
Machining process, along with inspecting panels with our laser tracker system using the
customer’s solid model. |

Skirt Panels, Atlas V
These aluminum isogrid panels are for Lockheed’s new Atlas V launch vehicle. AMRO
provides complete in-house manufacturing services. High-Speed machining, forming and heat
aging. Our complete in-house approach gives us the assurance that critical schedules will

Special Projects
In addition to the space sector, we serve Universities and Laboratories. Shown is a
prototype vacuum vessel that is manufactured out of machined, formed and welded aluminum
isogrid skins. The skin panels are machined out of 2.2” thick aluminum plate. The
shell is 160”inches in diameter by 100” inches long. Second to the shells sheer
size, the structure’s next most obvious feature is its intricacy of design. |
